What is flea allergy dermatitis?
Flea allergy dermatitis is the most common veterinary dermatological condition and begins with the bite of a flea. Flea allergy dermatitis is an allergic reaction to this bite. Flea allergy dermatitis continues to be a problem, even with developments in veterinary science. Dogs and cats rarely become desensitised to flea bites once they develop an allergy.
